Chorus and the Environmental Working Group

Product Safety 

At Chorus, product safety is our number one concern. We only use ingredients that are derived from natural sources. We also try to avoid any natural source ingredients that are considered to be toxic. 

As our guide we use the Environmental Working Group’s ‘Skin Deep’ website to determine the safety of all of our ingredients. Using this resource we have determined that 90% of the ingredients that we use are considered to be low hazard with 75% classified in the safest possible category. Of the remaining 10% of our ingredients all but one are listed in the safer end of the moderate hazard range.

The only ingredient in our products rated as High hazard is Retinyl Palmitate which is an important skin revitalizing ingredient. However the quantities of this ingredient used in our products are very low and considered to be completely safe.
